Post-convention visitors

The English-speaking part of the congregation is gone this week for their "Keep On The Watch" International Convention in Honolulu.  A few from the Spanish group are also still traveling and we were wondering what our attendance was going to be like this week...ten, eleven pople?  Well, what a great surprise awaited us as visitors poured into the Hall giving us double the normal attendance for Spanish!  Here's Wednesday evening's crowd:

Si, amigos!  Wednesday night's attendance hit 45 for our Bible Study and TM School, then peaked at 64 for the Sunday Public Talk (given by Bro. Serrano from Mexico)  and WT Study!

Thanks to all the visitors who supported us this week!  It was a pleasure meeting you all....your presence extended the international flavor of our meetings for an extra few days!

"Keep On The Watch" International Convention in Honolulu

Hi everyone!  Just got back from an incredible week in Honolulu.  With over 15.000 representing some 40 countries, the first of 2 International Conventions in Hawaii was a truly unforgettable experience.  Here are some pics, a few video highlights and some greetings for Brother Lambert.

Rainy Day Gathering at the Bay

Javier and Claudia are going bye-bye and we've planned an early dinner and swim party at 4-mile beach.  It's been raining heavily the past week and we've been under a flash flood watch.  Thankfully, the rain stopped around 3 this afternoon and we were able to enjoy a nice get together and even managed a swim in the decidedly cold water.

An Autumn Day at the Beach

 

Our Spanish Group is spending the day with Javier and Claudia who are moving back to the mainland in a few weeks, and what an absolutely beautiful day it is!  After a cold, windy night, the sky breaks clear and crisp this November morning.  The nearly 2 hour drive to Kohala's MaunaKea Beach is rewarded with cool breezes, and an almost empty stretch of sand.  From us, the turquiose waters stretch into the distance with the top of Haleakala visible on the horizon.
